Where are you from?: Mount Gambier, SA
Did you start skiing or snowboarding?: Skateboarding
What made you change?: I rode with a crew of girls who all got picked off by injuries. Snow seemed softer than concrete so I found it easier to learn and progress.
When did you first start snowboarding?: I was 18 the first time I went snowboarding, and it was the first time I saw snow. I did my first season at 21 in South Lake Tahoe and that sealed the deal of making sure I was always around snow when I could be.
Why did you start snowboarding?: An old friend of mine had some friends going on a trip to Perisher and needed to fill a spot. I was interested in skateboarding at the time and thought it would be fun to go have a try. I really enjoyed it and it slowly became more predominant in my life.
What do you love about snowboarding?: I love that it's not just a sport, it really is an entire lifestyle. The friends I've made and the experiences I've had will stay with me for life.
What tunes can we find on your riding playlist?: My girls in Cali got me into a lot of hip hop. Otherwise it's a mix, but there's a sweet Isenseven soundtrack playlist on Spotify that gets put on repeat.
Fave riding buddy?: My girls in Tahoe, it's always a fun day with them. Also my friend Dave, he knows exactly how to push me to get me out of my comfort zone.
Three things you can’t live without?: My phone - It's my life line when I travel.
Teddy bear - I've had him since the day I was born and he comes on all my trips. He's very well traveled.
Cat Turtle mug - the best mug ever.
Describe yourself in three words?: Adventurous, creative and sassy.
Quote/mantra you live by: "Keep on keeping on"
One pro tip for choosing the right snow apparel?: I used to sell snow gear, and the biggest thing for me is make sure you have the right size! Make sure you're going to have enough room to move around without being restricted, and you have enough room to layer up.
What is your favourite place to ride?: Perisher is my home mountain so it's always nice to ride somewhere you know well. Japan and Utah are both pretty rad, but it's hard to pick just one place!
Who is your favourite rider?: Scott Stevens, he brings his own style to snowboarding. For the girls I think Christy Prior is always a delight to watch and is extremely motivating.
What are your accomplishments?: Being able to have a lifestyle that combines my passions for snowboarding, traveling and being creative.
What is your favourite trick?: Methods
What are your goals?: To continue to do what I'm doing now and hopefully be able to keep having amazing experiences due to snowboarding and the lifestyle that comes with it. Also to ride Europe as it's the one place I haven't made it to yet!
What else do you do when you’re not snowboarding?: I'm either working way too much, wishing I was playing video games or taking photos somewhere.
